About us

A family business that works on farms

We started as a rodent business for farms because that is where the call comes from here: feed rooms, bins, barns and the shop.

We walk every building ourselves, we write down what we find, and we tell you when the answer is a better door and not a trap. We're a family firm of six working out of Sioux Falls, and most of what we do happens in the lane, not at the desk.

  • A walk-through before a plan

  • A written list of every opening

  • Sealing first, trapping second

  • A follow-up check, not a handshake

Who comes to your lane

The people on the farm walk

Six of us in all: the four below, and two seasonal technicians in fall and spring.

  • Lorene Whitecloud

    Owner and licensed applicator

Lorene runs the firm and does the written plans. She walks the first farms herself and will tell you if the answer is to fix a door.

  • Chaske Whitecloud

    Field lead

Chaske leads the bin and barn walks and runs the sealing crew.

  • Orlin Janssen

    Technician, sealing and carpentry

Orlin does the metal and the carpentry: doors, sweeps, mesh and trim.

  • Neema Kamara

    Scheduling and farm accounts

Neema keeps the calendar around your harvest and your calving, and sends the text before we pull in.

How we work

Three habits

  1. 01

    Look before we talk

We walk every building before we say what it needs.

  2. 02

    Write down every opening

You get the list, by building, and you can check our work against it.

  3. 03

    Seal before we bait

Most farms need little or no bait once the openings are closed.

Say hello

Call, text or send a note. We'd rather hear about it early.
